It’s Time to Say Goodbye to 2016

Today marks the last day of 2016 and it’s been quite a year.

Marcus, also known as Hey Mookey (@heymookey) moved back to San Jose from Los Angeles. He is currently working at Elemental Wellness Center and enjoys managing their marketing and learning the business from ground up. He loves California and we miss him dearly. We need a trip to California!

Alexa’s husband, Josh graduated in May with honors at Oklahoma State University with his degree in Psychology. We are so proud of him and looking forward to seeing where they will end up moving too. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a move further north closer to us; but we will see. All of their children are now in school, which I am sure Alexa is enjoying some me time.

Nyk got a promotion to lead supervisor, talk about moving up the corporate ladder. This year marks 10 years of his employment  at Comcast. We are super proud of him and his accomplishment and his commitment with such a wonderful company.

Jordyn and Jon welcomed a new baby in September. Rowan Daniel is beautiful and all of his aunts just love him. So does his Nana. Jordyn’s family has grown to five now. Wow, 3 boys! I think she’s trying to keep up with her sister, Alexa.

We are up to nine grandchildren, 7 boys and 2 girls.

Haley finished up culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Minneapolis/St. Paul, with honors. She loves cooking and making new dishes. We love her food and cannot wait till she cooks for the whole family some day.

Hayden had ankle surgery. Ouch… he broke his ankle in three different places skateboarding in Maple Grove. He is still recovering and struggles with continuing his skateboarding. Physical therapy continues and we hope for a full recovery. He will continue to follow his dreams with a possible move to California.

Hannah is currently in 9th grade and most of the time makes the honor roll. She’s taller than ever and recently had her braces put on. Can’t wait to see that smile when it’s all over. She is very active with her friends and loves to Snapchat and recently started going live on Instagram.

Mary-Grace, also known as Gracie is in 6th grade. It’s her first year at middle school with her sister Hannah, which can prove to be quite embarrassing at times. She has blossomed with a group of new friends and continues to be the good child without giving her father and I much grief.

Emma Sophia is now in the 1st grade and lost her front teeth this fall. She loves to schedule play dates with her friends and enjoys every adventure we embark. She’s also quite addicted to her iPod or any device she can get her hands on.

We recently got all of the kids and grandkids together in Lawrence, Kansas After Thanksgiving Weekend, which is a rare but beautiful occasion. Talk about being ‘thankful’. We had an amazing time.

Sean and I continue to work for ourselves. Our business, Queen Bee Media has grown with many new Minneapolis and Saint Paul based customers as well as customers nationwide. Our core strategy includes offering small businesses Innovative Digital Solutions, which are responsive mobile websites and full hosting packages, digital media branding and management and video services for both luxury and commercial Real Estate.

Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives. We look forward to what 2017 brings.

We wish you peace, joy and happiness this New Year.
